Stein - Riesling Alfer Hölle 1900 2023

The "1900" is a Kabinett Trocken; it reminds me a bit of the 2021 in its fierce cut and grip, yet it's much more outward looking, expansive. It is the second? iteration of 1900 that has landed as a Kabinett Trocken..the last being 2021. This wine has 8.4 acid and 8 grams of RS - but is deep, chewy nearly with it's phenolic grip and density...something only old vines can do and which can carry the analytics of the above marvelously. This is the second oldest known still producing vineyard in the Mosel. 

Notes of tropical fruit, lemon, stone fruit, and a distinct wet stone minerality.
