COS - Frappato 2022

On the farthest tip of Southeastern Sicily is where you will find the vineyards and olive groves of Agricola COS. COS is acronym of the surnames of the three friends Cilia, Strano, and Occhipinti (yes, there is relation, wink) who started the project back in 1980. They know how to craft local Sicilian wines and this wine is no exception.

100% Frappato grown organically and fermented with native yeasts in concrete vats to keep the fruit forward, fresh accessibility. Offers flavors of raspberry, orange peel, and sweet spices, with subtle acidity and soft tannins.  Great with a slight chill.
