Shucks comes from an old block near the Pinnacles National Monument with an interesting grape story: vines originally thought to be Pinot Blanc were later discovered to include Melon de Bourgogne, and that blend (roughly ~65% Pinot Blanc + ~35% Melon) is what makes up this cuvée.
Fresh, vibrant, food‑friendly white with a bit more personality than a typical unoaked white. Aromas of wet stone/mineral, chamomile, citrus, subtle white flowers and coconut flake vibe.
Bright citrus & lemon zest, high acidity — makes it feel electric, salty/sea‑shell minerality, clean, lingering finish, slight richness from lees contact balancing the sharpness.
Pair with any raw seafood, poultry, salads, creamy cheeses!
