La Miraja - Grignolino d'Asti 2024

Light-bodied red, high acidity, lightly tannic.  “Lighter, more delicate cousin” to Nebbiolo.  Rose petals, red berries, herbs, sometimes a hint of spice.  

Bright acidity, light body. fine but noticeable tannins (from lots of seeds in the grape), clean, slightly bitter almond-like finish.

Pair with charcuterie, salumi, light pasta (tomato, pesto), roast chicken or turkey, grilled fish, chillable red!
