Manciat - Mâcon-Charnay "Franclieu" 2024

Mineral, chalky stone character.  Fruit notes of green apple, pear.  Floral top-notes of white lilies, apple blossom.  Some almond / nutty nuance.

Clean, precise, and fairly pure — fruit-driven but not heavy. Good acidity (“spine of acidity”), giving it freshness. Mineral drive and grip, with a “soil-defined” character (chalk / stony). Long, well-balanced finish.
