The aromas are captivating scents of withered flowers (roses), ripe cherries, red currant, and blue berries, complemented by secondary notes of tobacco, leather, licorice, and iron-like, mineral hints.

On the palate, medium-bodied with a "textural and complex" mouthfeel. It is noted for having fine, integrated tannins that offer a smooth, yet firm structure.

Pair with ragu, pasta, grilled meats, aged cheeses.
