Outward Wines - Sangiovese Five Oaks Vineyard Santa Ynez Valley 2025

We began farming this rocky, oak-nestled 1-acre site in 2024, and like in the other sites we farm, we are using a variety of regenerative organic practices. It is a delight to spend time in this small oasis and watch the site improve year after year.

In 2025, we destemmed the Sangiovese for fermentation and then aged the wine in neutral 500L puncheons.

This Sangiovese is true to varietal—balancing classic rustic dustiness with the warm touch of Santa Ynez Valley sunshine. An aromatic delight with nice concentration and playfully punchy, yet integrated tannins on the palate that keep you going back for more. This wine is made for red sauce in all forms!
