Bright, light raspberry or intense red color. Aromas of intense, fruit-forward nose with dominant notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and gooseberry.

Light-bodied and energetic (zippy) with high, refreshing acidity.  Red fruit jam, hints of spice, and a mineral, almost rustic, or "fun" character.

Pair with grilled meats, rich, meaty dishes, such as braised beef or slow-roasted lamb, cheeses, aged cheeses, hearty stews or roasted vegetables.
