Valentin Morel - Cotes du Jura Chardonnay Les Trouillots 2022

This Chardonnay comes from 35 year old vines planted on Trouillot marl terroir. Hand harvested, destemmed, and pressed directly to tank. Native yeast fermentation and malolactic fermentation start in tank and wine is then transferred to neutral 600L barrels to complete fermentation. No SO2, no fining, no filtration.

Aromas include nuttiness, honeysuckle, flint, and candied lemon. On the palate, it is dry with high acidity and a round texture, featuring flavors of baked apple, underripe peach, pineapple, tropical fruits, and jasmine. This wine showcases the terroir of Jura with its opulent body and rustic elegance, reflecting Morel's artistry in winemaking .

Pair with cream sauces, fried foods, poultry and pork.
